Installing on a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag WTF Office into Applications.
  2. The app is not yet signed by Apple, so the first time: in Applications, right-click WTF Office → Open → Open.
  3. If macOS only offers “Move to Bin” / “Done”: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to “WTF Office”, then confirm.
  4. Sign in once. Allow camera, microphone and (for screen sharing) Screen & System Audio Recording when asked.

Updates: the app tells you when a new version is out and opens this page; download it and replace the app in Applications.

Installing on Windows

  1. Run WTF-Office-Setup-1.0.0.exe.
  2. If “Windows protected your PC” appears (the installer is not yet code-signed): click More info → Run anyway.
  3. WTF Office installs and opens. Sign in once.

Updates download in the background and install when you quit the app.

Good to know

  1. Closing the window keeps WTF Office running (you stay reachable). Quit from the menu-bar / tray icon → Quit WTF Office (Mac: ⌘Q).
  2. Mute / unmute anywhere: ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+M. Camera on / off: ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+V.
  3. “Start at login” is on by default; switch it off in the menu-bar / tray menu.
